GetJet Airlines Carriage Regulations

According to the current rules of the Airline, the following free baggage allowance for one passenger is established:

adult passengers

1st place:  hand luggage weighing up to  5 kg , dimensions up to  55 x 40 x 20 cm

1st place:  maximum weight  20 kg  / sum of three dimensions (length x width x height) no more than  158 cm

Children
(from 2 to 12 years old)

1st place:  hand luggage weighing up to  5 kg , dimensions up to  55 x 40 x 20 cm

1st place:  maximum weight  20 kg  / sum of three dimensions (length x width x height) no more than  158 cm

Infants
(children under 2 years old)

1 baby stroller up to 10 kg
or car seat

1st place:  maximum weight  10 kg  / sum of three dimensions (length x width x height) no more than  158 cm .

ATTENTION! the exception is flights on charter routes:
Tenerife, Madeira and Dubai - 15 kg,
Ski destinations - 18 kg.

NOTE: ski boots can be accepted as part of checked baggage (total weight not exceeding 18 kg), as part of special equipment (total weight not exceeding 10 kg) or included in hand baggage allowance (total weight exceeding 5 kg). There is no need to book the transport of special equipment if only ski boots will be transported. Shoes may be packed separately, but not more than the total weight of the luggage.
If a family takes 1 suitcase for everyone, then its weight should not exceed 32 kg. Additionally, you can take up to 5 kg of hand luggage, the dimensions of which do not exceed 55/40/20 cm.

In addition to free carry-on baggage, passengers may also have a small backpack/bag/laptop bag not larger than 30 x 40 x 10 cm or a blanket, on-board reading materials, baby food, umbrella, cane, crutches. and one bag of duty-free goods.

All sharp objects (nail scissors, penknives, etc.) must be checked in with your luggage and cannot be taken on board with hand luggage. Liquids are allowed to be taken on board the aircraft in limited quantities (this also applies to creams and shampoos): no more than 100 ml, in tubes or bottles, packed in a transparent bag, with a volume not exceeding 1 liter (the bag can be purchased at the airport).

IMPORTANT! Electronic cigarettes and their batteries must be carried in hand luggage. It is strictly forbidden to put batteries from electronic cigarettes in checked baggage. they do not have an off button and at high pressure they can turn on by themselves, which creates a fire hazard in luggage.

Additional or non-standard baggage must be reported no later than 72 hours before departure, because the opportunity to take extra or non-standard baggage on board depends on the number of free baggage pieces on a particular flight and is not always possible.

Animals may be carried in the cabin if the following requirements are met: PETC (pet in the cabin) is a pet (dog or cat only) in the cabin in an approved shipping container (maximum size 50x40x20cm and maximum total weight 8kg). The transport container must be completely closed and the animal must remain inside during the flight. The shipping container should be stored under the seat in front of you.

The transport container must be suitable for transporting animals:

  • The door must be secured in such a way that it cannot be accidentally opened or that your pet cannot open it during transport and transport.
  • The container must be well ventilated.
  • The bottom of the container must be sealed.
  • The pet should have enough space to stand up, turn around and lie down.

Passengers carrying pets must have valid health and vaccination certificates, pet passports, veterinary entry documents and other documents required for countries of destination and transit, without which the pet will not be allowed into these countries.

It is allowed to transport no more than 3 PETC shipping containers per flight. Pregnant animals or pets under 8 weeks of age are not allowed on flights.

PETC is prohibited on flights to/from Dubai (DWC), Tenerife (TFS), Fuerteventura (FUE) and Madeira (FNC).

Passengers traveling with pets in the cabin are subject to seat restrictions. Passengers with PETC and guide dogs cannot sit: near/near emergency exits; in the forefront; next to VIP passengers; near passengers with reduced mobility.

The transport container with the pet must be stored on the floor.

If you are unable to check in online or have already checked in online but still wish to check in your baggage, airport check-in is available free of charge.

Check-in deadlines vary at each airport, so we recommend that you arrive at least 2 hours before your scheduled departure time. Your journey will be easier if you have enough time for check-in and other dispatch procedures.

The check-in desk closes 40 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
Boarding gates close 15 minutes before scheduled departure time.
