*If the family takes 1 suitcase for everyone, then its weight should not exceed 32 kg.

All sharp objects (manicure scissors, folding knives, etc.) must be checked in together with luggage, they cannot be taken on board with hand luggage. Liquids are allowed to be taken on board the plane in limited quantities (this also applies to creams and shampoos): no more than 100 ml, in tubes or bottles packed in a transparent bag, with a volume of no more than 1 liter (the bag can be purchased at the airport) .

IMPORTANTLY! Electronic cigarettes and their batteries must be placed in hand luggage. Batteries from electronic cigarettes are strictly prohibited in luggage, which seems to be the case, since they do not have an off button and at high pressure they can turn on by themselves, which creates a risk of ignition in luggage.

Information on prohibited baggage can be found here.

Useful information about flying with children can be found on the Tallinn Airport page here .

Detailed information about baggage is available on the carrier's website at the link.

Additional or non-standard baggage must be reported no later than 72 hours before departure, because the possibility of taking additional or non-standard baggage on board depends on the number of free baggage spaces on a specific flight and the possibility of booking is not always available.

Passengers traveling with animals are required to familiarize themselves with the rules of a particular country regarding the import and export of animals, as well as the conditions of carriage of animals, before booking a flight. This information can be obtained from the Consulate of a certain country. To transport an animal, the passenger must have with him all the necessary documents, including import, export and transit documents, as well as vaccination certificates.

AirBaltic transports animals (only dogs and cats) both in the aircraft cabin as hand luggage and in the baggage compartment as checked baggage, depending on the size and weight of the animal.

Transportation of animals in the cabin

Dogs and cats can be transported in the aircraft cabin as hand luggage, in the passenger's personal pet container.

The maximum weight of the animal together with the container is up to 8 kg, the parameters are 55 x 45 x 25 cm.

Please note that the bag or container must be fully closed and remain closed with the animal inside under the front seat for the duration of the flight.

Transporting an animal in an airplane cabin costs EUR 55 one way.

Transportation of animals in the luggage compartment

Animals that cannot be transported in the cabin of the aircraft as hand luggage must be transported in the baggage compartment of the aircraft as check-in baggage in containers specially designed for the transportation of animals. The passenger is obliged to provide his own container for transporting the animal.

The weight of the container together with the animal cannot exceed 75 kg.

Maximum container size: 84 x 142 x 84 cm (width length x height).

The possibility of ordering this service and the cost must be specified individually.

You can find detailed information on the website of the airline.

If you are unable to check in online, check-in at the airport is free.

Check-in deadlines are different at each airport, so we recommend that you arrive at least 2 hours before your scheduled departure time. Your trip will be easier if you allow enough time for check-in and other departure procedures.

The check-in desk closes 40 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
