Turkish authorities return requirement for PCR tests for passengers from Ukraine from 04.06.2021 

To cross the Turkish border, you must have one of the following documents:

  • PCR test that is done within the last 72 hours before crossing the border;
  • rapid antigen test, which was made within the last 48 hours before crossing the border;
  • an official certificate of vaccinations, at least 14 days must pass from the moment of receiving the last dose of the vaccine;
  • an official certificate of the transfer of the Covid-19 disease within the last 6 months.

We recommend that you take the original test results in English with the seal of the laboratory on paper with QR code.

The coronavirus test may not be done by passengers traveling with a transfer at Turkish airports to third countries, as well as aircraft crews and children under 12 y.o.

Passengers who have visited Bangladesh, Brazil, Nepal, South Africa, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka in the last 14 days must present a negative PCR test result made no earlier than 72 hours before arrival in Turkey. Passengers must self-isolate for 10 days at hotels designated by local authorities. On the tenth day of quarantine, passengers must undergo PCR testing, and if the PCR test is negative, quarantine will be completed. The cost of transfer and accommodation is paid by the passenger. All passengers must have a paid hotel reservation from the established hotel list prior to departure.

We remind you that all passengers traveling to Turkey must complete the online Passenger Locator Form at ​​no earlier than 72 hours before departure. The completed form must be printed or saved on a smartphone and presented at the request of representatives of the airlines during check-in.

Passengers without a completed online form will not be admitted to the flight. The form can also be checked at the border of the Republic of Turkey. If you do not fill out the form or have knowingly entered false information, you may be subject to administrative sanctions, as well as banned from entering the country.

Completing the online form does not apply to international transit passengers. The online form does not apply to passengers under the age of 6. 


Egypt allowed entry of vaccinated tourists without tests 14 days after receiving the second dose of the two-component vaccine (Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Moderna, Sinopharm, Sinovac, Sputnik V), or 14 days after receiving the first dose of the Johnson & Johnson single-component vaccine.

The certificate must contain a QR code and must not contain any corrections, erasures or corrections. Ukrainians can generate and print a vaccination certificate with a QR code from the Diia portal. The electronic versions of the certificates have not yet been recognized by the Egyptian side.

All unvaccinated tourists from 12 years old arriving in Egypt must have a laboratory seal, doctor's signature and / or QR code on their tests, without which the results will not be considered valid. A printed document is required!

The PCR test must be performed no later than 72 hours before arrival, rapid antigen test within 24 hours before entry:

  • The certificate must necessarily contain the exact date and time of the person taking the test;
  • The certificate must be issued by an official laboratory registered in the state of origin of the document and must contain the laboratory's stamp, the doctor's signature and a QR code containing a link to the test result on the official website of the laboratory;
  • The certificate must contain any corrections, erasures or amendments;
  • The certificate must contain information about the type of test carried out;
  • The type of testing must be indicated in the certificate.
  • The certificate must be issued in English.
  • The certificate must contain information about the person who owns the test.
  • Handwritten certificates are not accepted
    In case of doubt about the validity of the test, the Egyptian side reserves the right to re-test upon arrival.

All travelers must also get a health insurance policy for the entire period of stay in the country, which includes full coverage of medical expenses and accommodation in connection with COVID-19 in case of any quarantine requirements. The details of the insurance policy must be uploaded when filling out the health declaration form.

Citizens arriving at the airports of the resort cities of Hurghada, Sharm el-Sheikh, Marsa Alam and Taba and who do not have the mentioned certificate with a negative PCR test result will be allowed to conduct a PCR test immediately upon arrival at these four airports. The cost of the PCR test will be US $ 30. However, we recommend having a printed test result ready.
From November 20, it will become impossible to pass the PCR test for cash at the Hurghada airport, it will be possible to pay for the test only with VISA.

All passengers travelling to Dubai/Sharjah must provide at check-in for the flight at the airport of departure:

An international health insurance policy confirming the coverage of the costs associated with the treatment of COVID-19 and stay in isolation in the UAE;

- A completed in English and mandatory printed certificate (Сertificate polymerase chain reaction (PCR) swab test), which confirms negative test results for COVID-19.

This Certificate must be issued no more than 72 hours before arrival in the UAE and must be provided only by medical institutions accredited in Ukraine. This requirement does not apply to children under 12 years of age and passengers with moderate or severe disabilities.

All passengers arriving in Dubai / Sharjah as tourists must have a valid return ticket. Passengers without a return ticket will be denied entry into the UAE.

Please note that in the absence of this Certificate or insurance policy, the airline may refuse to transport the passenger.

It should also be remembered that airlines have the right to refuse check-in for passengers who show symptoms of COVID-19.

Upon arrival in Dubai/Sharjah, you must pass another test for COVID-19, which is done directly at the airport, as well as download the application "COVID-19 DXB" for Dubai or ALHOSN UAE for Sharjah and register in it for possible communication with the UAE health authorities in the future. The result of this test will be sent by SMS within 24 hours. Until the test result is received, you must be in self-isolation in a hotel or other place of residence.

Persons who test positive for coronavirus, as well as those (family / group of tourists) who came into contact with a person who tested positive for coronavirus, will be isolated for 10 days in institutions designated by the Emirates at their own expense.


From 04 January 2022 to 31 January 2022 to enter the island, tourists from Ukraine need:

  • register on the CyprusFlightPass platform -, receive a personal flight access card (CyprusFlightPass) - all passengers without exception, incl. children;
  • have a negative PCR test result made no more than 72 hours before departure (the test must be in English);
  • upon arrival in Cyprus, undergo a second PCR test (cost: 15 euros at Larnaca airport and 19 euros at Paphos airport). The test result will be sent to the traveler via SMS or at the link within 3 hours. Until the result is obtained, the tourist must remain at home self-isolation;
  • pass another test (rapid antigen) after 72 hours from the moment of arrival - citizens who received a booster dose of the vaccine are exempted from the third test.

Children under 12 years of age are exempt from testing.

From November 26, 2021, entry into the territory of Cyprus is prohibited for anyone who has been (including in transit) in the following countries for the last 14 days before arrival: South Africa, Namibia, Lesotho, Kingdom of Eswatini, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Malawi, Botswana.

All tourists must have a negative PCR test for COVID-19 (in English) before entering the Maldives, including those who have completed a full course of vaccinations or have had the coronavirus.

A sample for a PCR test must be taken no earlier than 96 hours before departure from the first point of departure. If the transfer at the transit airport exceeds 24 hours, it is necessary to retest.

Exceptions: children under 1 year old, citizens and residents of the Maldives, holders of work permits.

The declaration is filled in for each tourist. After filling out the declaration, you will receive a QR code, which must be printed or saved on your phone. Show it when going through passport control.

At the airport of arrival, it is necessary to undergo compulsory temperature screening and observe priority anti-epidemic measures of personal safety (protective masks, social distance).

To obtain a visa on arrival, you must confirm your reservation in one of the officially registered resorts of the above-mentioned island state.


To carry out "unimportant" (including tourist) travel by any means of transport to the continental territory of Portugal until February 9, 2022, citizens of Ukraine over 12 years old who do not have permits to live in Portugal or another EU country must provide:

  • Ukrainian digital COVID certificate of recovery or full course of vaccination with Janssen vaccine (COVID-19 Vaccine Janssen), AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Moderna (Spikevax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), generated in the Diia application - 14 days from the last dose of vaccine is a prerequisite; and
  • a certificate of a negative test result (the results of a PCR test made no more than 72 hours before the submission of the document, or a rapid laboratory test for antigen made no more than 48 hours before the submission of the document are accepted), regardless of the item the departure of the flight or the citizenship of the passenger - 

!! Travelers who try to enter Portugal without a certificate will be fined € 300 to € 800.

Attention! Portugal does not accept paper-based Ukrainian vaccination certificates.

To enter, you also need to fill out the Passenger Locator Card -  (the form must be completed after the "check-in" on the flight on which travelers arrive in Portugal and before boarding the plane ) and issue a health insurance policy for the entire period of stay in the country.

Travelers who do not have a valid residence permit in Portugal (residencia) and have an incomplete set of COVID documents (no COVID certificate and / or test) will be prohibited from entering Portugal (leaving the airport in this case is NOT allowed)! Such passengers will be forcibly returned by the next flight to the country from which they arrived.

Upon arrival in the mainland of Portugal, it may be necessary to retest for COVID (at our own expense, the waiting period for the results may take 12-24 hours, before the test results are obtained, leaving the airport is not allowed) if the traveler has signs of illness (at the airports of Portugal body temperature measurement) or if there are doubts about the validity of the submitted COVID documents.

Travelers arriving from South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, Eswatini, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, or who were in the territory of these countries at any time during the period of 14 days before arriving in Portugal, must remain in self-isolation for 14 days after arriving in Portugal (by place of residence).


From November 15, 2021, citizens of Ukraine have the right to enter the territory of Spain if they are fully vaccinated or if there is an urgent reason for traveling.

Before traveling to Spain (including children of all ages, transit travelers and returning home residents of Spain), you must register at After filling out the form, you will receive a QR code, which you will need to present both upon boarding and upon arrival in Spain at health control.

For vaccinated citizens, vaccination can be considered valid with WHO-recognized vaccines: AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Covishield (Serum Institute of India), Sinopharm or Sinovac. From the moment of the last dose of the vaccine, at least 14 days must pass (the day of vaccination is considered zero). Such citizens do not require additional tests and quarantine. Children under 12 years of age can enter with fully vaccinated parents without tests.

Spain accepts vaccination certificates in the Diia app or paper certificates from the Diia portal with a QR code.

All passengers who intend to enter Spain are subject to sanitary control at the first point of entry, which provides at least a document check, visual inspection and non-contact temperature measurement. For visa-free entry to Spain you need a valid biometric passport and get a health insurance policy for the entire period of stay in the country.

On November 11, 2021, Ukraine was included in the list of countries of the so-called "red" zone. In this regard, the entry of Ukrainian citizens for tourism is possible only with full vaccination.

There are no restrictions on entry if a citizen of Ukraine is fully vaccinated with one of the vaccines recognized by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and approved for use in France.

These include Pfizer / Comirnaty, Moderna, AstraZeneca / Vaxzevria / Covishield and Jansen / Johnson & Johnson vaccines. In this case, the vaccination is considered complete if 28 days have passed since the moment of vaccination with the Janssen vaccine and 7 days since the second dose in the case of vaccination with other vaccines - Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeeca / Vaxzevria / Covishield.

For border control, a document confirming vaccination is required, in addition to the vaccination certificate, it is necessary to present a PCR test, made no more than 48 hours before entry, or an antigen test made no more than 24 hours before entry and an application for the absence of symptoms of Covid-19 and / or the absence of contact with persons with Covid-19 must be completed -

Together with a fully vaccinated adult, a minor child under 18 years of age can freely enter. However, unvaccinated children over 12 years of age must present a negative test result as described below.

! France accepts vaccination certificates in the Diia app or printed from the Diia portal, as well as paper international vaccination certificates.

If a citizen of Ukraine has not been vaccinated, he can enter France only when urgently needed. Urgent reason for traveling to France must be confirmed prior to departure. In the event of a false statement or false reason, boarding will be denied.

If a passenger is not vaccinated, but has the right to enter France, he must present a negative PCR test done no earlier than 72 hours before entry, or an antigen test that is done no earlier than 48 hours before entry. You must complete, print and provide before boarding a certificate proving the purpose of your trip -

You will need to provide a sworn statement that indicates the absence of symptoms of COVID-19 and any contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 -, оath to pass an antigen test or biological examination upon arrival in France and an oath to self-isolate for 10 days and another oath to conduct a PCR test at the end of the isolation period. The specified entry conditions apply to both adults and children (over 12 years old).

For visa-free entry to France, you need a valid biometric passport and get a health insurance policy for the entire period of stay in the EU.

According to the order of the Minister of Health of Bulgaria RD-01-1036 / 17.12.2021 Ukraine is assigned to the orange zone.

From December 20, 2021, entry to Bulgaria allowed for persons who provide:

  • digital COVID EU vaccination certificate or similar document; or
  • digital COVID certificate of the EU of recovery or similar document; or
  • EU digital COVID PCR test certificate or similar document.

Ukrainians have the right to enter with the Diia application or a document printed from the Diia portal.

! Any certificates from the laboratory or from the doctor will not be accepted.

Individuals who do not present any documents on COVID-19 are quarantined for 10 days.

A quarantined person can do a PCR test or a rapid antigen test no earlier than 72 hours after arriving in the country. In the event of a negative result of the conducted research, the quarantine of the person shall be considered terminated from the day following the day of receipt of the result.

Children under 12 years old are allowed to enter the territory of Bulgaria without providing documents for COVID-19.

Vaccines that Bulgaria recognizes are AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Covaxin, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm, Sinovac and Sputnik V.


From December 16, 2021, entry to Italy from Ukraine, regardless of the vaccination status, is allowed only for urgent reasons:

  • work;
  • treatment;
  • studies;
  • absolute necessity (funeral, subpoena, etc.);
  • return to the place of residence;
  • athletes, technicians, judges and competition officials, representatives of the foreign press and accompanying persons participating in competitions in sports sports recognized as of the highest national interest in accordance with the provisions of the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) and the Italian Paralympic Committee (CIP) and is governed by a specific safety protocol adopted by the sports organization responsible for the event.

Entry into Italy is also always allowed for citizens of Italy / EU / Schengen area and their family members, as well as persons with long-term resident status and their family members (Directive 2004/38 / EC).

The above provisions will be valid until January 31, 2022.

The final decision on admission / refusal of entry is always made by the Italian Border Police (Polizia di Frontiera).
