(also known as Queen Sofia Airport Tenerife South) is the international airport of Spain, the main airport of the Canary Islands, located on the island of Tenerife. The airport was founded in 1978, currently having one passenger terminal.

Tenerife South International Airport is 57 km southwest of Tenerife's capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and 18 km southeast of the popular resort of Playa de las Americas. Alicante Airport

Alicante Airport is located 10 km from the city of the same name in Spain. This is the sixth busiest airport in the country - in 2011 it served 9.9 million passengers. A new spacious and modern terminal was built in 2011, nowadays all flights are made through it.

There is a good transport connection between both airport and city. You can get to the city in half an hour by bus S-6 , it runs from 6:50 to 23:00, the last one is near the Hotel Melia, the bus passes the stops of the railway station and bus station of Alicante. The fare is about 3 EUR. You can also get to Murcia, Benidorm, Elche, Torrevieja and other cities from the airport.

There is a taxi rank with strictly set tariffs at the airport - a trip to Alicante will cost you 25 EUR during the day and 30 EUR at night.
