Children under 18 do not need a visa to visit Egypt, if they are inscribed on their parents' passports. Only one Visa per passport is paid.

Upon arrival in the Sinai Peninsula, tourists can not apply for a Visa and therefore do not pay $25. Tourists should write: "SINAI ONLY" on an immigration card. A stamp with the same text will be put in the passport: "SINAI ONLY". This stamp gives the right to stay only on the territory of the Sinai Peninsula for up to 15 days.

  

ATTENTION! IMPORTANT!

If the visa regime is violated, that is, the tourist will stay in the country for more than 28 days, the Egyptian authorities have the official right to impose a fine and a restriction on visiting the country. Please note that if tourists have been on a tourist visa for more than 28 days, a departure from the country on a charter flight is not possible. Tourists should take regular flights.

Also, if a passenger flew to Egypt on a regular flight through Cairo, then he should also take back only a regular flight. Passengers flying into Egypt on regular flights will not be allowed to register for departure on a charter flight.

 

Citizens of the Republic of Belarus and Moldova must obtain a Visa at the Embassy. The right to provide documents for obtaining a Visa at the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in the Kyiv city gives a residence permit or registration in Ukraine. Women aged 15 to 36 years (Moldovan citizens) are required to additionally receive an entry permit.

The airport is located in the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula, right in the city.

Take-off and landing are carried out from one of the two available 3-kilometer stripes, in the south-west or north-east direction.

The airport has two international terminals (Terminal 1 & Terminal 2), a VIP zone, Duty Free shops, bank branches, many cafés and shops, representative offices of tour operators and airlines.

It is able to accept all types of passenger aircraft without restrictions. The airport is equipped with modern technology, as well as navigation equipment, capable of ensuring the convenience and safety of flights at the international ICAO standards' level.
