The airport is located approximately 8 kilometers east of Palma de Mallorca, next to the San Pastilla village. It is the third airport in Spain, after Madrid Barajas Airport and Barcelona El Prat Airport. It is one of the busiest airports in Europe during the summer months. Air supply is well established with many countries of the Old World.

The distance to the cities of Mallorca is up to 150 km, there are 12 km to the city center.

Buses № 1 and № 17 run from the airport. The fare is 3 EUR, but a taxi will cost 20 EUR. It should be noted that it is not customary to hitchhike in Palma, therefore it is better not to waste time, but to buy a bus ticket or take a taxi.
